James’ December 2013 Finds

Posted by on January 5, 2014

December saw me return to the 1743 property and it yielded some choice finds. I also made my second visit to the 1830s church property to explore the site further (see my November finds post for more from that site). That property is so dense with signals that it will take me a while to sift through them all. I did manage to find a bottle dump there and will have to carefully excavate that on return trips. Finally, with the cold weather setting in, I returned to some public park property that has been hit hard by other detectorists. This place only yields old items, with very little modern junk, but the signals are few and far between. I managed to eke out some more history there.
